Verna graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Australian Catholic University in April 2014. Originally from the Philippines, she spent 8 years working as a registered nurse both in her hometown and in Australia before joining Dental Seasons to pursue her interest in the dental field.

Verna is a true people person who enjoys helping others and making patients feel at ease. Her background in nursing has complemented her transition into dentistry, allowing her to provide a high level of care and ensure patients feel comfortable, supported, and well looked after in the chair. She also brings a great sense of humour to our Dental Seasons family, helping create a warm and relaxed environment for both patients and the team.

Verna's role at Dental Seasons

As a dental assistant, Verna works chairside with our dentists during check-ups, cleans, fillings and other treatments. She prepares each treatment room, looks after instrument sterilisation and infection control, and supports patients before, during and after their appointment. Her years as a registered nurse mean she brings a strong clinical eye and a calm, caring manner to every visit, whether it is a child's first check-up or a longer treatment.

Questions patients often ask Verna

Can I bring my child along to my appointment? Yes. Bringing little ones to a parent's check-up is a great way for them to get used to the clinic before their own first visit, and Verna loves helping them feel at home.

What happens before my treatment starts? Verna prepares your room, sterilises the instruments and makes sure you are comfortable before your dentist begins.

Who do I call if I have a question afterwards? Call the clinic on (07) 3269 2064 during opening hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

In her spare time, Verna enjoys spending time with her kids and helping others in need. She is also a big fan of Korean and Vietnamese cuisine.
